Biography
Sviatoslav Avilov is a Venice-based composer and multimedia artist. His work moves across music production, live performance, and generative visuals design.
He is the founder of The Whale Project multimedia collective and the Goid music project, presenting his work at festivals, art biennials, and concert venues across Europe and the USA.
Recent works include the audiovisual cycle Ebb and Flow, for live ensemble and real-time generative visuals, and the contemporary opera Void in collaboration with librettist Leonardo Piana.
His music for interactive installations and performances — including Ethereal, The Unbearable Lightness,We ARE, Satellite, and Fossile — has been presented at the Florence Biennale, the Venice Design Biennale, Venice Art Night, CaminoControCorrente, and FestArt Venezia, with recent concerts and performances regularly featured at the events of the Art is Not Dead artist collective.
